Michelle Van Dyke
Michelle has always enjoyed learning about nutrition. She grew up as the larger kid in the class and realized early on that nutrition would be key for her to live her best life. This realization as a kid led her to pursue as much education as possible. She holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, a master's degree in Kinesiology, and is currently a Sports Science & Physiology PhD candidate. She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). Movement and nutrition have become an obsession for her, and she strives to learn more about each topic every day.
After playing basketball in college, Michelle found CrossFit and fell in love. She worked full time as a CrossFit coach and was enamored by the community that was built at her gym. During those years, she competed in many Opens and local CrossFit competitions. Currently, Michelle follows more of a body-builder type of routine and rides her Peloton multiple times a week (with Jess King being her favorite instructor). Helping people with their nutrition goals is something she finds really fulfilling. Her goal is to help others demystify the world of nutrition and educate them based on science.
